You will be welcomed by friendly spa personnel and escorted to one of our cozy seating areas where your spa/salon professional will greet you. Next, you’ll enter your private treatment room exquisitely designed for total comfort and relaxation.
At Essentials, we respect your privacy and modesty. For your spa services the therapist will leave the room while you disrobe. Most guests undress completely but you may wear undergarments or a bathing suit if you prefer. All guests drape themselves with large sheets for massage and body treatments. All services at Essentials are provided by professionals and our draping policy assures that your modesty is respected at all times. Only the specific body area being worked upon is exposed. For most body treatments we recommend that you undress completely. Men are required to bring a bathing suit for all hydrotherapy services.
Pregnant women and individuals with varicose veins, high blood pressure, etc. should avoid all heat treatments and consult with a spa therapist prior to any treatment. Following any heat treatments, it is important that you rest and drink plenty of water. Pregnant women must also bring a doctor’s note allowing for the service and be past the 1st trimester of pregnancy.
We require that you disclose any medical condition and/or prescription medication you are taking as some services may be contra-indicated.
In certain circumstances, it may be required to present a valid credit card at the time of reservation to hold your appointment. For parties, or full day treatments, we ask that you notify a Spa Coordinator a minimum of 24 hours in advance, and 48 hours for Saturdays, should you need to cancel or reschedule to avoid a 50% charge for the service. All no-show appointments will be charged at full value.

We accept cash, Visa and MasterCard, and personal checks. All returned checks will be charged a fee of $30.00. Product returns must be completed within 30 days of purchase and will be issued in-store credit towards other retail products only.

We will do everything possible to accommodate you. However, in some cases, it may be necessary to shorten or reschedule services. Late arrivals will be charged for full service.

Our gift certificates are an ideal way to celebrate a special occasion or to say thank you - year round! All gift certificates are non-refundable and need to be present at the time of payment. Phone and Mail orders are available. Essentials Day Spa is not responsible for lost or stolen gift certificates.
